Oversee print & production of collateral

Allura is a National level Media and Art Fest conducted every year by the Department of Communication at St Joseph’s College of Arts & Sciences. It is organised by the B.A Visual Communication students.
In the year 2017, we decided to move away from the concept of a fest and transform Allura into a festival, so as to make it a more holistic and interactive event. That year marked a change and so, it was crucial for the design team to bring out all these aspects in the marketing and communication for Allura. Every year, Allura takes on a theme and for that year, Steampunk was it.
So, the project involved the creation of various print collateral for the festival such as posters for various events, brochures for sponsors, invites, certificates and so on. It also required the designing of digital material in order to amp up Allura's social media presence.
Our objective was to create a visual identity and design collaterals, based on the theme for the festival which was Steampunk.

The following is the design of the brand manual for Allura 2017 - which was developed to help the design team follow a consistent style across designs and help create an identity for the festival.
