As part of my graduation project, I designed a poetry book — using my skills in both writing as well as illustration, which would help me to express my emotions and experiences and also allow my viewers/readers to relate to them.
Project Description
Duas Portas was, for me, a book about all the contrasting emotions and challenging experiences that one goes through. The best way for me to bring these out was in the form of poetry and unique visuals which would represent my style.
The best way I’d be able to describe ‘Duas Portas’ is through its blurb

In a vessel of thoughts,

Duas Portas is a collection of poems that illustrate the conflicting, yet harmonious emotions that each one of us goes through. Told from the perspective of a young adult who is travelling through the feelings of fear, confidence, love, hurt, rootlessness and belonging."
