My objective for this project was to create a digital platform which would provide women with access to menstrual supplies in a situation where it is unavailable—by means of connecting them with other women in close proximity or to various sources like medical stores, supermarkets and the likes.
As do most concepts, this idea emerged from my own experience where I was in a public place that did not have menstrual supplies, where medical stores and supermarkets were beyond walking distance. Thus, the concept of a digital platform — which would give women access to pads, tampons and other menstrual necessities through connection with other women — was born.
I decided to create an identity for the digital platform and see how my concept would fit into the market in a future scenario. This included ideating the name of the brand, designing a visual identity for it, and even creating and testing out the wireframes for the possible application. I compiled all of this into the form of a handbook that would consist of all my research and design work.
